The Braiding 101 Workshop is a hands-on, beginner-friendly experience hosted by 100 Girls of Code at Salon BKB. Designed to blend creativity with confidence-building, this workshop introduces girls to the fundamentals of hair braiding, including basic techniques, parting, and care. Participants will learn in a supportive salon environment while exploring self-expression, cultural appreciation, and entrepreneurship in the beauty industry. The session encourages creativity, teamwork, and skill-building—empowering girls to see beauty, technology, and innovation as connected pathways to future opportunities.
