It’s Time for the Hot Air Balloons to SOAR! 🎈
Quincy’s 400th year has already been one for the history books, and the celebration continues with one of the most unique events yet. We want to make sure you have all the details to enjoy this spectacular day to the fullest (including a handy map!).
Important Transportation & Parking Information
Parking is extremely limited. We strongly encourage guests to use the MBTA, ride-share services, or one of the designated parking areas and garages located within walking distance of Adams Field and Pageant Field.

Event Start: Gates open at 4:00 PM at both fields (no early entry).

Ride-Share Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Central Middle School, 875 Hancock Street, a five-minute walk to the fields.

Downtown Quincy Parking:

Presidents Place Garage, 34 Saville Ave.

Kilroy Square Garage, 25 Cottage Ave.
Both are a 15–20 minute walk from the park and near excellent dining options. MBTA buses and the Red Line from Quincy Center provide quick connections to Wollaston.

Please respect nearby neighborhoods by not parking on residential streets surrounding the stadium and park.
Entertainment:
- Adams Field: Family-friendly entertainment from 4:00–7:00 PM.
- Pageant Field: Live performances from 4:00–9:00 PM, followed by a Laser Light Show finale from 9:00–10:00 PM.
Dining Options
On-site, enjoy 8 food trucks (including dessert options) plus beer, wine, and other beverages for purchase.
