The Bonaventure Quartet ‘All Strings’ faithfully recreates the sound and ambience of a French nightclub in Montmarte in the 1930s. Those were the years when the music of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France was at the forefront of European/Continental jazz and the notion of an 'all string' swing group was revolutionary. Django was an illiterate, gypsy guitar virtuoso who combined his mastery of European classical and the romantic, passionate music of the Roma with the American swing style as exemplified by Louis Armstrong. The result is a unique acoustic music known as gypsy jazz and is today popular in Europe and increasingly so around the world. 

The BVQ ‘All Strings’ formed in Atlanta in 2000 and has been playing concerts, clubs, festivals, and private events around Atlanta and the Southeast ever since. The players are Marla Feeney on violin/clarinet, Charles Williams and Rodrigo Suarez on guitars, and Mike Beshara on upright bass.
