Jump aboard the Roman Chariots as we drive you around on this guided tour; each monthly tour will highlight the history of a different block in Historic Downtown Rome. Included in the tour, is a history tour inside one of the historic buildings on the block.
The tour is presented by the Rome Area History Center and is led by historian Selena Tilly.
Tickets: $10.
To avoid online ticket fees, tickets may also be purchased by cash in-person: Georgia’s Rome Gift Shop & Welcome Center (at both the Jackson Hill & history center locations)
Tickets are non-refundable unless canceled by the organizer. All ticket sales benefit the non-profit, Rome Area History Center.
Location: Departs from the Rome Area History Center front entrance at 305 Broad Street (do not use back entrance, it is not accessible to public)
Transportation: You will ride on the Roman Chariots for the guided tour. There is some walking; wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Time: Tours last about 60 minutes. Meet at 9:45 a.m., tours depart at 10 a.m. (Limit 10 people per tour)
Cancellations: In the case of inclement weather, tours will be canceled and ticket holders will be contacted by via email/text contacts provided at registration.

April: 100 Block
May: 200 Block
June: 300 Block
(No tours in July & Aug)
Sep: 400 Block
Oct: 500 Block
Nov: 600 Block
