EAT Detroit is a one-night-only foodie experience and fundraiser where you tour our city’s top restaurants while wearing an official wristband, and no bill ever arrives.

Pick a starting restaurant for general admission or upgrade to VIP for an exclusive reception at Michigan Central Station with dining from Marrow and Leña and return there for a send-off with desserts from MAD NICE, Prime + Proper, and Townhouse Detroit. (Limited dessert add-on option for general admission). Dining also includes award-winning food trucks and a free water ice dessert at the Detroit Water Ice Factory. Walk between restaurants, or hop on shuttle buses for longer distances between Downtown and Corktown clusters. Use our official app to plan your night before you arrive, including what restaurants you want to visit. And get ready for food and fun, with all proceeds to benefit SAY Detroit's mission to provide pathways to success for Detroiters in need.

EAT Detroit is a volunteer-powered event modeled (with permission!) after World Central Kitchen’s Dine-N-Dash from chef José Andrés.

More details can be found at www.eatdetroit.info

***Most attendees are able to visit 6 - 10 restaurants comfortably***

What ticket should I get?

VIP attendees experience the grandeur of Detroit’s iconic Michigan Central.

*In an exclusive dining experience by Marrow and Leña, VIP patrons will join SAY Detroit founder Mitch Albom and other special guests at a reception at 5 p.m. at the newly restored and opulent Grand Hall.

*Check in and get your wristband at the reception.

*Your VIP experience will return to Michigan Central to end your night in style, sipping champagne: Starting at 8:30 p.m., enjoy a final course of desserts from MAD NICE, Prime + Proper, Townhouse Detroit.

Learn more about the VIP experience at https://eatdetroit.info/vip.php

General Admission (GA) attendees purchase a ticket by choosing their starting restaurant. This is where you check in at 6 p.m. with your ticket, receive a wristband and event map, and dine first.

*NEW IN 2025: A limited number of add-on tickets are also available for GA attendees to join the dessert party at Michigan Central. You will see this option after selecting your main tickets).

Are your shuttles ADA-accessible? Are the restaurants?

The event requires walking from restaurant to restaurant within “clusters,” with shuttles providing cluster-to-cluster transportation only. Due to a high volume of rentals for various events, we have found a limited availability of private shuttles overall.

If you or anyone in your party requires an ADA-accessible van with adjustable seating for a mobility device (wheelchair or scooter), please indicate “YES” at the time of purchase and contact us immediately at eat@saydetroit.org. A representative from EAT Detroit will follow up directly for details and determine accommodation options.
