Blending raw rock energy with deep, soulful grooves, Edgewood Heavy has carved out a sound that’s entirely their own: Rock N Soul. This four-piece powerhouse is led by two electrifying frontmen whose chemistry drives every show. Often described as “a mix of Black Pumas, The Black Keys, and Outkast,” Edgewood Heavy built their name in the Southeast and now performs for audiences nationwide and abroad.
Recent highlights include NPR’s “Sounds Like ATL” (WABE), winning the 2026 "I'm So ATL" Publix Marathon Talent contest, major festivals like One Music Fest (50,000+), Bear Down Music Fest, Wire & Wood Fest, Stone Mountain Soul Fest, and Inman Park Fest, plus multiple contracts as a Guest Artist with Virgin Voyages. They’ve opened for acts such as Dayglow, David Ryan Harris, El DeBarge, Mackenzie Carpenter, Dazz Band, and shared the stage with Lady Wray. The band also performs regularly on college campuses through NACA and APCA, and for corporate clients including NCR.
Beyond the stage, Edgewood Heavy curates community through their annual music festival, 'Edgewoodstock' featuring the collaboration with local brewery Soul Brothers to craft their signature beer, 'Edgewood Hefe.'
After their debut album, '$ex Drugs & Rock N Soul,' (2023) delivered a bold introduction, the band kept the momentum moving with cross-country touring, new singles including the genre-blurring “Drunk Remix” with international EDM sensation Sporty- O, and ‘The Live Album,' -a 12-track collection capturing the energy of their shows. In 2025, they completed a coast-to-coast run through 25+ cities in 15 states—followed by performances across 8 countries with Virgin Voyages. In 2026, they’re continuing the ride with the “Singing Songs for Strangers” Tour.
This is Edgewood Heavy. This is Rock N Soul. Are you ready?
