Jay Hurtt VI is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer born and raised in Lothian, Maryland. He first launched his career with the Annapolis MD/Charleston SC-based indie-rock band Little Bird, carving out a regional following before branching into a solo chapter. Now based in Hawai‘i, Jay blends beach-indie and country into his own easy, lived-in sound—warm vocals, lap-steel colors, and coastal rhythms that feel both fresh and familiar.
