CARLYLE GRIFFIN
Bio:
Hailing from Walterboro, South Carolina, Carlyle Griffin is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter making her way in the Americana scene. Griffin’s passion for music began in the church choir at the age of 6 and grew with her as she went on to participate in various musical theatre productions, intensive vocal programs at the SC Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities, a cappella and jazz groups at Clemson University, and cover bands touring the Southeast. Through her eclectic experiences, Carlyle has seamlessly woven together a distinctive sound that is all her own.
Griffin has been writing and playing her own songs since the age of 13 and, shortly after moving to Nashville in 2021, she won the Josie Award for Folk/Americana Single of the Year with her solo-penned track “Symptomatic Daydream.” Drawing inspiration from her own experiences and that of others, Griffin crafts songs that delve deep into storytelling, evoking emotion and connecting with listeners on a profound level. Her various influences, from Motown to 70’s folk rock to Broadway and everything in between, create a sound that holds a little piece of something for everyone. There is no doubt that Carlyle Griffin is carving out a unique path in the Nashville music scene, and beyond, that is undeniably her own
JOEL JORGENSON
Bio:
Joel Jorgensen started his career in Los Angeles CA as a performing recording artist under Sony USA. He achieved an international following for his band Angels Fall. He toured with and opened for some of the largest bands in the genre such as Seether, Nickelback and many more. As his career progressed he found a love for producing and songwriting in multiple genres so Jorgensen left Los Angeles and headed for Nashville, TN to start the next chapter of his career.
Jorgensen currently is producing full time plus performing all around Nashville.
He has song cuts with Coffey Anderson, Bryan Martin, Rob Mayes, Whitey Morgan, and many more.
Joel Jorgensen is a singer songwriter and full time music producer based in Nashville Tennessee. His music career has taken him all over the country and around the world over the past 20 years. You can find his current album “Highway Lullabies”anywhere you stream music.
His style and sound is Americana and southern rock with storytelling lyrics that captivates his audience.
COLLINS HORTON
Bio:
From Mississippi roots to Tennessee boots, Collins Horton was raised by a Strong Christian man and a Southern Preacher’s Daughter. His mother played the congregational piano at the tender age of 8 years old well into her adulthood. Collins was influenced by the constant echoing of traditional gospel hymns that his mother played in his childhood home. He discovered his passion for writing when his parents gifted him his first guitar at the age of 13 and his passion for songwriting began.
Since his arrival in Nashville three years ago, he has shared stages with hit songwriters and artists such as: Pam Tillis, Rodney Atkins, Ashley McBryde, D. Vincent Williams, and Terri Jo Box to name a few. This is his 3rd year competing in the TN Songwriters Showcase. Although his future is unwritten, one thing is certain…Collins Horton is carving out his place in Country music with his captivating storytelling traditional country songs.
