Young siblings, Julius & Destiny, visit there Great Grandparents one Christmas eve. Their Great Grandfather, James, tells them a holiday bedtime story of  how he met their Great Grandmother, Vivian, on a cold Christmas eve in Harlem in 1943.  Following the bedtime story, Julius is curious about an old pocket watch owned by great Grandfather.
