Bbygirl Entertainment presents, “Tha Rap Girls” . In celebration of International Womens Month, we aim to showcase the diversity of female rappers in Atlanta by highlighting some of our favorite rappers in the city. Each artist has her own unique style but each one is a star in her own right. 

Maya Ayam, an Atlanta-based artist, began her musical journey at age 8 and later pursued music and education at Georgia State University. There, she immersed herself in media entrepreneurship and became an active member of the National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG). Drawing inspiration from artists like Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, and Big KRIT, Maya's music blends diverse influences into a unique sound. In 2019, she headlined an official A3C stage, further establishing herself as a dynamic performer. Known for her fearless creativity, Maya's work reflects her personal journey and a commitment to authenticity and innovation.

Muva “ItGirl” is a bold and dynamic recording artist originally from Newark, NJ, now making motion in Atlanta. Known for her cocky and empowering sound, she crafts music that elevates listeners, instilling self-love and confidence with every lyric. With an unapologetic presence and a signature style, Muva “ItGirl” is redefining the music scene, creating anthems that make fans feel unstoppable,undefeated and much more.

Emerging from the city of College Park, Atlanta, Phatgirl is fiercely propelling herself to the pinnacle of America's female rap scene. True to her name, Phatgirl's music exudes unfiltered authenticity and raw emotion. Fearlessly tackling subjects of self-love, empowerment, and societal conventions, she establishes an unbreakable bond with her audience, forging an undeniable connection. Phatgirl's immense talent and unwavering dedication have garnered widespread recognition. Her music has resonated with millions of listeners worldwide, solidifying a devoted fan base on TikTok. Jazzy Tha Rapper affirms that “what is destined can't be disrupted.” From her sound to her visuals, everything about the Atlanta-based rising star feels cinematic, taking you on a journey into her creative universe. If her life is a movie then her music is the soundtrack and she's on a mission to give the world front row seats to see, hear, and feel her story. Born in Brooklyn with family roots in Guyana, Jazzy was raised on the outskirts of Atlanta. The emcee’s penchant for intricate wordplay and witty metaphors display a strong ethos for New York-influenced rap with the ability to draw from a diverse set of sounds and lived experiences.

Jamila (milabucks) Gray is an actress, DJ, and artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Jonesboro, Georgia, Jamila began her entertainment journey at around 11 years old, as she was cast in her first musical and discovered her talent for acting. She then attended a performing arts high school in Clayton county, in which she studied theater, vocal performance, dance,  and had the opportunity to perform in numerous classic plays, musicals, and monologue competitions. She dj’ed her first event in 2019.  Currently, she enjoys spending her time creating music, djing, reading, writing, and creating her own short films.
