The Queers are a long-running punk rock band formed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 1981 by singer and guitarist Joe King (also known as Joe Queer). Often described as "the Ramones meets the Beach Boys," their sound is a blend of fast, melodic pop-punk with humorous and often juvenile lyrics.
