War On Sleep EP Release Party
Join us for an electrifying night of music as War On Sleep celebrates the release of their debut EP at Smith’s Olde Bar! This Atlanta-based band, formed by Eric Michaels and Jacques Rene Hebert of SAYERS, blends indie rock, folk, and alternative influences into a sound that’s both intimate and anthemic. For fans of The National and Snow Patrol, War On Sleep crafts songs that resonate with raw emotion and rich, cinematic textures.
Before they take the stage at 10 PM, we’ve got a powerhouse lineup to open the night:
WarFather (9 PM) – An ATL-based fuzz collective that fuses ’70s-drenched, blues-infused heavy psychedelic stoner rock with experimental sonic textures. Multi-instrumentalists at heart, WarFather creates an immersive wall of sound, from mystical sitars to schizophrenic harmonicas.
Ole Fateful (8 PM) – The haunting, Appalachian-tinged project of Evan Fricks, weaving the gritty drawl of lap steel guitars with driving drum beats and sonorous drones. It’s a sound that’s rugged yet introspective, evoking the haunted echoes of the southern hills.
