The entity known as Shugah Munny was formed deep within the raw matter of the One True Boogie. The revolution began with one thought: perhaps there were many true boogies, not one. From this schism the avatars of hype funk and power disco emerged and shattered the chain tying it to the limits of music. Boogie on!

Electric Mallet is a vibraphone-driven project of Atlanta musician Micah Prescott, blending downtempo, chillhop, and lo-fi grooves. Through live looping, improvisation, and textured backtracks, the project reimagines the vibraphone for modern soundscapes and creates an atmosphere that feels both laid back and captivating. Electric Mallet is at home in a concert setting, a gallery, or a relaxed outdoor festival, bringing a unique sound to creative community spaces.
